Yorkshire Classic Trials riders turned out in force for Sunday's Pre-65 contest at Lothersdale when 53 competitors braved a miserable wet day to cover a four lap course at Manor Farm.

Dudley Robinson, from Baildon, won the twin cylinder class on his 500cc Triumph, covering the complete course without picking up a penalty.

Keighley riders Jack Smith, Peter Baldwin and Andy Littler all won awards in their classes.

World Champion Dougie Lampkin continued his jet-set travels around the Continent with a flight from Spain to Italy after winning an international arena trial at Castelon, ahead of Spanish ace Marc Colomer.

After flying to Torino it was Steve Colley who won the two-lap Saturday programme, but Lampkin fought back to win the event with a sparkling performance on the second day.
