A Keighley businessman who pleaded guilty to five charges of possessing indecent computer images of children tried to change his plea in Court.
Colin Jack Gaines asked magistrates at Bingley Magistrates Court to allow him to change his plea to not guilty.
But the attempt by his solicitor David Pedley was rejected by the bench.
Chairman Blanche Woollin told him: "In relation to the application to withdraw the guilty please we are satisfied that Mr Gaines having had the benefit of advice entered the appropriate pleas. We have heard nothing today to warrant the withdrawal of these pleas."
At an earlier hearing when he was granted unconditional bail, Mr Gaines, 45 of Lady Lane, Eldwick, pleaded not guilty to four charges of owning videos containing indecent pictures of children.
The case was adjourned until December 15 for a pre-trial review for which he was excused attendance.,
Gaines is a partner in the North Street firm Gaines and Wilkinson.
