A man raped a teenage girl less than two hours after indecently assaulting two others, a Court heard.

The 17-year-old girl was raped after Brian Ali barged his way into her flat, prosecutor John Mellor told a jury at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.

Earlier, Ali had 'touched up' one teenage girl and put his hands on the breasts of another, said Mr Mellor.

Ali, 32, of Coldbeck Drive, Buttershaw, Bradford denies one charge of rape and two of indecent assault.

Mr Mellor said the indecent assaults were committed in March this year at a house where one of the girls was due to babysit for the occupier.

In the kitchen, Ali stood in front of one of the girls and put his hands behind his back before touching her between the legs over her jeans.

She ran out of the house, complaining about what had happened.

Ali then allegedly put his hands on the other girl's breast. He was thrown out of the house but before leaving he poured the contents of a jug over her.

Shortly afterwards, the 17-year-old was in her flat when she heard a knock at the door. She opened it and Ali barged his way into the lobby, said Mr Mellor.

He grabbed her by the arm and dragged her into the bedroom, where she was allegedly raped.

Ali then left the flat but was arrested at his home later that evening after police found him on a sofa, apparently sniffing lighter fuel.

During an interview, he insisted sex had taken place with the girl's consent. He claimed she had waved to him through the window of her flat and they had sniffed lighter fuel.

The trial continues.
