An exciting Bradford derby is in prospect tomorrow when Eccleshill United host Thackley in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division at Plumpton Park.
United were knocked out of the league cup in midweek and are languishing in the lower regions of the table but enjoyed a stirring home win in the FA Vase last Saturday which was cause for celebration.
Skipper Andy Wilkinson, one of four ex-Thackley men in United's 15-strong squad, is doubtful but will undergo a late fitness test on a damaged hamstring. Centre back Wayne Cotton returns after missing Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Ossett Town.
Thackley definitely have their captain back in the centre of defence. Darren Hamer returns after missing last Saturday's 4-1 league win over Brigg Town. Striker Mick Burke injured an ankle last time out but is expected to be fit.
Liversedge are the only ones of the six local non-league sides to be away from home, visiting Pickering Town in the Premier Division. Sedge bring Mick Birkenshaw back into the heart of their defence at the expense of Neil Dillon. Jamie Riorden and Simon O'Hara also make way with James Glover and Andy Dodsworth back in the frame.
Bradford Park Avenue have a tough home fixture in the UniBond League Division One when sixth-placed Radcliffe Borough visit Horsfall Stadium.
Manager Trevor Storton keeps faith with the players who acquitted themselves so well in league cup defeat at Premier Division Blyth Spartans in midweek.
Avenue are running their offer of free entry for children accompanied by a paying adult for tomorrow's game and next week's visit from second placed Hucknall Town.
In the same division Farsley Celtic are at home to midtable Witton Albion and have second top scorer Scott Jackson back in contention.
The former Bradford City man has just returned from a two week trial at a Dutch first division club. Midfielder Simon Woodhead is also back in the fold but Matty Flynn is one of six still injured and Wayne Noteman is doubtful after pulling a hamstring in training.
Guiseley, fourth in the Premier Division, face a visit from Runcorn. The home side name Jamie Proctor in their squad in the hope that his international clearance has arrived from the USA in time.
