Graham Cox produced a fine display to win the under-15s boys event in the British Schools Cycling Association North East Cyclo Cross Championship at Temple Newsham, Leeds.
The Salt Grammar pupil rides for Team Chevin and was too good for his rivals..
Leigh Seargant from Bradford won the under-nine boys event. He attends Foxhill First School, Queensbury.
Sarah Todd, of Heckmondwike Gra-mmar, won the girls under-13s race.
More than 100 children, aged nine to 15, took part. The event was organised by Seacroft Wheelers.
Members of the East Bradford Saturday Bike Club achieved some good results.
Sam Hodges from Shibden Head First School came third and Joshua Sessions from Robettown Junior School, fourth in the under-nine boys.
Sixth was James Gaffney from the Church School, Thornton while his five-year-old sister Isabella, who was two years younger than any other rider in the race, finished seventh in the girls race.
Two Dixons City Technology College riders produced great performances in the under-15s boys race.
Richard Baggeley finished third and Richard Vincent, fourth in their first ever races.
Dora Connelly of Bronte Middle School, Keighley won the under-15s girls race.
In the under-11s boys race, David Bolt (Roberttown Junior School) finished 14th out of 24 and Philip Gatenby (Shelf Junior School), 18th.
Rachel Bates from Thornton won the girls event in the Sproggs class in the last Diamondback Junior Sportage mountain bike series.
