7 2 people cancelled appointments saying at £4.50p an hour it wasn't worthwhile working financially with the benefits they were receiving.
7 13 people were given temporary work, which they agreed to, but failed to turn up at the workplace. Reasons given were - too busy, too far, wife ill, appointment with solicitor and child care too expensive.
7 3 people were offered work but refused. Reasons given were signing on and/or lose benefits.
7 1 Person went to work and walked off after 1 hour. Reason given was he didn't like people he was working with.
