Silsden Ladies went down 4-2 in their 'local derby' battle with Bradford City.
The Cobbydale girls put up a good display in a tough match, but were denied by the woodwork.
Edna Smith scored twice for Silsden with a sparkling performance and Shelley Donohoe was again on top form winning her sixth woman of the match award.
She also came close to snatching a point for the Silsden side with a number of close shots, including hitting the crossbar.
It was a gutsy performance from the South Craven team against a Bradford outfit who play a division above them in the Yorkshire League.
This weekend Silsden travel to Brigg Town.
