Kay Langford, 16, pictured above, has been invited to sing a solo between performances of carols by the award-winning choir.
Kay, of Springfield Gardens, Highfield, was chosen after choir members heard her perform with fellow Holy Family School students at last year's concert. She will perform Let There Be Peace during the 7.30pm concert at the school next Friday.
Kay has performed in choirs and alone since she was nine, particularly at Our Lady of Victories Church, and at the age of ten played a leading role in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Kay currently helps children's choirs at Our Lady of Victories Primary School and the Brownies' group based at local Roman Catholic churches. Early next year she will play the leads in Gargrave Amateurs' panto Aladdin and Holy Family's The Sound of Music.
Tickets for the carol concert are available from Holy Family School or by phoning choir secretary Len Wilson on 01274 569870.
