A nativity play seen through the eyes of animals gets is first showing at Lady Lane Park School, Bingley, today.
The Winter Journey tells of the donkey's mission to take Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem as he navigates obstacles helped by other animals.
Stags, hinds and a wild cat are among those who help him cross the mountains and a river where the bridge has been swept away. Six-year-old Edward Hewitt, pictured, plays a frog which helps to find a stepping stone.
Children aged six and seven take the main speaking parts, with five and six-year-olds making music while the youngest play angels and shepherds.
