Skipper Stuart McCall today called on fifth-placed Bradford City to make Valley Parade a fortress to cement their promotion challenge.
City bounced back from a 3-0 home defeat against QPR three weeks ago with two successive away wins at Oxford and Swindon to put them in a confident mood for tomorrow's visit of 11th placed Wolves, but McCall believes promotion form is founded on a good home record.
He said: "It's great that we have already won five away matches, but we must make the most our home matches.
"Most people believed that we would roll over QPR in our last home match because they were in the bottom three, but that game showed you cannot just turn up and expect to win.
"We regarded our defeat at Huddersfield as a slight hiccup because we had enough chances there to win three matches.
"The QPR defeat was slightly alarming, but you tend to get a couple of 'bad days at the office' games every season when everyone has an off day for no reason.
"It was important that we bounced back well after that defeat and if we could have picked up four points from the next two away games we would have been pleased. Most teams in this division have a good home record so to get all six points was a bonus.
"We have got to focus in every game and we want to beat Wolves to give our fans something to cheer about in the last match before Christmas after disappointing them in the last home game.
"This division is all about consistency. If we win our home games and try to get something away we have a great chance of finishing in the top six at the end of the season.
"Consistency is what you need in this division and, apart from Sunderland who are ten points clear at the top, every one is capable of beating everyone else.
"We have just got to concentrate on what we do well and, if we play to our potential it doesn't matter what other teams do against us.
"We are confident in our own ability and if we play to our strengths we should be able to beat anyone.
"Before the QPR defeat we had won five home matches in a row and we had been rolling teams over by scoring three and four goals a match and it would be nice to get back to that, but I would settle for a 1-0 tomorrow."
Manager Paul Jewell is expected to name an unchanged squad, but Wolves are without suspended Australian right back Kevin Muscat and midfield player Phil Osborn. Mark Atkins returns at right back and Neil Emblen is promoted from the bench.
City visit Huddersfield Town tonight in the FA Youth Cup third round. The match will be played at the McAlpine Stadium (7pm).
