Heartbeat star Kazia Pelka was the guest at a service in Haworth Parish Church to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Emily Bronte.
Nearly 200 people were in the church to hear her read three of Emily's poems, No Coward Soul, Stars and Remembrance.
The event was also the premiere of a new piece of music, Meditation for Speaker and Organ on Two Poems, written by Haworth composer Arthur Walker.
The piece accompanied Bronte Society member Geraldine Robertson-Brown, of Haworth, who read the verse. She is pictured with Kazia Pelka.
