Government plans to breathe new life into rural communities are welcomed by Keighley MP Ann Cryer.
She says the proposed Rural White Paper is good news for the people of Keighley and Ilkley.
Mrs Cryer told us: "The White Paper sets out new policies to meet the concerns I have raised on behalf of my constituents who live and work in the countryside. We are delivering on Labour's manifesto commitments to rural communities by pulling together policies on jobs, health, education, crime, housing, transport, agriculture, energy efficiency and planning.
"This work will complement plans announ-ced last month for urban areas by setting out a clear and comprehensive strategy for the future of our countryside."
