PRINCE Henry's Grammar School pupil Andrew Tindall was named in the Yorkshire 18 Group Clubs squad for the Roses clash against Lancashire at Harrogate on Sunday.
Andrew, captain of the school first XV who also plays for Otley RUFC, was named on the replacement bench for the roses match.
The 18 Group Clubs side is a newly created and somewhat controversial squad opened its season with a 41-10 win over East Midlands.
In addition to looking for team success the players will also be under the eye of the Northern Division and England selectors, the ultimate accolade this term being a place in an England team for a tournament in Edinburgh later in the season.
Yorkshire's inclusion of five players who the RFU believe should have been channelled down the Schools 18 group route remains a source of hostility between the two, with the players currently trapped in the middle.
Impressive performances by all or any would obviously raise the temperature of an already heated debate.
