Silsden Under-16's made it through to the fourth round of the County Cup- with a 4-1 victory over Seacroft Lions.
Steve Gott thundered in a half-volley for the opening goal and Adam Rogowski chipped the keeper for the second.
Lee Field was on superb form in goal for the Leeds side and denied Silsden a string of goals. Ian Craven headed home the third and Chris Simpson secured victory when the also snatched a header.
Liam Houldsworth was man of the match and there were also outstanding performances from Joe Blacka, Gavin Baluk, Chris Simpson, Andy Howland, Steve Gott, Ian Craven and Adam Rogowski. This weekend they are back in league action with a home game against Sandy Lane, kick off 2pm, Sunday.
Cowling Under-9's drew 2-2 with Eastburn after taking a first half lead. Selina Steventon scored for Eastburn to draw level, only for Cowling to regain their lead. Luke Daniel made two great saves for Eastburn before Farran Raynard scored the goal of the match to give his side a share of the points.
A reshuffled Long Lee Under-12's B lost 5-1 to Bolton Woods despite a battling performance. They took the lead in the first half through Stefan Risidi, but could not stop the goals from Woods despite the best efforts of man of the match Thomas Abberton and stand in keeper Matthew Langford.
Long Lee Under-12's a continued their unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory over Eccleshill. Leading 1-0 at half time through Daniel Sylvester, they added a second through Danny McHue before man of the match Andy King added the third from a free kick.
Haworth Under-12's were in top form to fight their way back from 3-1 down against Eccleshill at half time. They turned in a superb team effort to take a 6-4 victory with Patrick Roche scoring a hat-trick, Sam Coates 92) and an own goal.
Long Lee Under-8's A went down 4-0 to Wyke, falling to their heaviest defeat with a below-par performance. Keeper Chris Redman kept the visitors at bay, but some excellent passing moves gave Wyke the edge. Ben Swift had a solid game at the back for Long Lee.
Long Lee Under-8's B continued their improvement despite a 3-1 defeat by a well organised Wyke side. James Sutcliffe scored for Long Lee with Daniel Gough man of the match.
Long Lee Under-8's C turned in an excellent performance to win their second competitive match 4-0 against Wyke C. Goals came from Oliver Thurlby, Jake Starkey, Oliver Haughey and Jonathan Laidlaw with Mark Anderton and Wesley Luscombe forming a solid defensive partnership.
Oakworth Under-7's held a one goal lead for most of the game until they committed defensive suicide, going down 5-2 to Menston. Man of the match Kane Scott hit an outstanding opener and Joshua Isherwood had an excellent game with support from Ben Lamb who scored Oaks' second goal. Harry Booth was on form in goal.
Oakworth Under-8's went down 5-1 against Wilsden with robert Armstrong scoring his first of the season. Daniel Hurd and Nicholas Sperduto both had chances, but Wilsden made superior finishing tell.
Oakworth Under-9's C shared the points in an eight goal thriller with Ellar Carr. Oaks held the lead three times, only for the visitors to peg them back including a vital last-minute strike. All players excelled, especially Eddie Swales, Joseph Hannon and Robert Ambler who all scored for the first time.
Long Lee Under-7's went down 11-0 to table toppers shelf. Stand-in goalkeeper Robert Mulderrig made some good saves and Jack Hainsworth fought valiantly in defence aided by Matthew Pearson and Sam Carpenter. Long Lee have now won four and lost four in their first season.
Oxenhope Under-14's B completed the double over Fairweather Green with a 3-2 win. Goals from Chris Day and ben Judson (2) secured victory and Benjamin Ross was man of the match.
Man of the match Steven Throup opened the scoring in Silsden Under-12's 5-1 victory over Wilsden. Other scorers were Jason Shaw, Alex Delmege, Robert MacLean and James French.
Silsden Under-11's beat Long Lee 7-1 with Danny McNulty scoring four, Chris Page (2) and Gavin Shearer was also on the score sheet. Shearer was man of the match while Paige and Chris Sutcliffe also had excellent games.
Silsden Under-10's C went down 10-0 to Burley A with Scott Wilson man of the match.
Silsden Under-8's A claimed a 2-1 victory over menston A with JonJo Berry scoring both goals. Lee Thompson and Chris Cummins shared the man of the match award.
Silsden Under-8's B were beaten 5-1 by Menston B with Danny Whitaker on target for the Cobbydale outfit. Joe Hunt took the man of the watch award for solid work in defence.
Silsden Under-7's were beaten 4-0 by Wyke with goalkeeper Oliver Wigglesworth man of the match. Nick Crook and Frank Inson also played well.
Cross Hills juniors went down 3-2 to Bolton Woods despite two goals from Whiteley who was also unlucky not to score an equaliser. Gareth Brown, Nathan Hutchinson and Colin Throupe were outstanding for Cross Hills.
Bracken Bank Under-13's cruised into a 3-0 lead against Sandy Lane after just 15 minutes. The result was never in doubt as they turned in an exhibition of superb football with Ross Wiseman scoring five in their 9-1 victory. Other scorers were Gary Kinley (2), Martin Taylor and Liam Jeffrey.
Brackenbank Under-12's were matched goal for goal by Northoram, but the Keighley side had the edge in the final minutes to win 4-3. Scorers were Sam Carter (2), James pearson and Andrew Mitchel, spectacular goalkeeping earned Stuart Reid the man of the match award and James Pearson received the second man of the match award.
Bracken Bank Under-8's beat Gomersall 4-0.
Another hattrick from Oakworth Under-13's goal machine and man of the match Liam Blacka was not enough to register a win for his team at home to Eccleshill. A full blooded encounter saw the visitors take the lead only for Blacka to tie things up before half time. Eccleshill to regained the lead after the break, but Oaks scored twice through Blacka. Oakworth couldn't hold out, however, and in the dying seconds a lose ball following a tremendous Matthew Everard save was volleyed in by an unmarked Ecclehill striker to level at 3-3.
