Keighley jUNIORS enjoyed most of the play in their derby clash with Keighley Athletic, but slipped behind to a secondhalf goal.
Jason Brewer equalised for Juniors, but Athletic made the most of their few chances to sneak a win and a place in the second round of the Senior Cup.
Already in the second round Cricketers and Ring O Bells served up a goal feast, but Rings had the edge capturing an 8-5 victory.
After being 6-0 down at half time Cricketers pulled back to 6-4 before Rings restored a three goal advantage. Cricketers kept fighting and were back to 7-5 before Tings scored their eighthl. Chris Cheetham led the way with a hat-trick, supported by Jon Atwell (2), Paul Rushworth (2) and Peter Clough.
In the Sunday Cup second round Royal came back after being 3-0 down to Bolton Villas. The three first half goals came from Mike Catt, Darren Marshall and Nigel Long. Royal scored a penalty just after thebreak and although they missed another penalty they snatched a winner with 10 minutes to go.
Victoria Hotel continued their winning ways, taking a close match 1-0 with a goal 20 minutes from time.
In the only Premier Division game Baildon New Inn beat Maguires 4-0.
