Wrose Albion 2 Ilkley Dynamos 6
Ilkley Dynamos' made it through to the last 16 of the County Cup for the first time in their history, with an impressive 6 - 2 away win at Bradford Div1 side Wrose Albion.
After a 1-1 stalemate the previous week, Ilkley made the better start in the re-play, going 2-0 up in the first ten minutes, through the hard working front pair of Nick Moore and Paul Chapman. The home side pulled one back ten minutes later, and looked like getting back into the game, until Rob De Matteis scored an important third goal just before half- time.
The second- half was even better for the Ilkley side as they raced even further ahead with Moore completing his hat-trick, and the manager's Man-of-the-Match, Mark Kiers adding the sixth, for an easy passage through to the next round, where they visit Clarence in a fortnight.
