Paul Jewell comments: I thought we were looking very comfortable at 2-0 and then it all got a bit nervy with their goal and then the sending off. But I thought even then we were defending well. We got our heads and bodies in the way when we needed to and I can't remember Gary Walsh having too much to do. I thought both our goals were very good.
That was Lee Mills' first goal in the cup this season while I was very pleased to see Jamie get a goal because it will be good for his confidence.
With the pitch not being conducive to our style of play at the moment there will be times when we have to dig in and scrap the results out. That will be the case until the pitch starts firming up later in the season.
Having said that, we are all delighted to be in the hat for the next round. It may have been an anxious last few minutes and I don't know where five minutes of stoppage time came from.
I asked the referee about Andy O'Brien's sending off after the game and he said it was for holding. If that is the case, why was the free-kick given on the edge of the area. If what the referee said is correct, surely the offence took place several yards further back.
I was pleased with Ashley Westwood when he came on because he got five headers away and Stuart McCall also did well against Jack Lester.
