Bradford Bulls are heading for the sun again as they put the finishing touches to their pre-season build-up.
Matthew Elliott and his coaching team will take the full squad of 23 players to the Club Le Santa complex in Lanzarote for an intensive week's training on January 21.
The Bulls used the superb training facilities, popular with top class athletes, at the same stage last year and Elliott believes it will be a very useful exercise.
"We had a very beneficial week there and the excellent weather means we can really make the most of the facilities.
"It's is also a great way of helping the new players blend in with the rest of the squad.
"When we get back, the first warm-up game against Huddersfield will only be a couple of days away. And it will then be full steam ahead for the season."
Latest Aussie recruit David Boyle is now expected to arrive next week in time to take his place on the Canaries trip.
He was due to start training with the rest of the squad this week but there have been delays in obtaining a work permit.
Meanwhile, the club have announced more details of their squad numbers presentation evening at St George's Hall on Friday, January 29 (7.30pm).
All the senior squad will be attending and there will be a host of live entertainment.
"It should be a marvellous night for Bulls fans," said spokesman Stuart Duffy. "All the new players will be attending and there will be every chance for photos and autographs.
"Due to the tremendous demand for our social functions we have decided to move to a bigger venue.
"It will allow people to watch from the balcony and all the bars will be open."
Tickets costing £4 for adults and £2 for juniors are available from all Bulls outlets.
