Paul Jewell intends avoiding the usual curse of the manager of the month award when his Bradford City side travel to Stockport County tomorrow.
Already this season, Bolton's Colin Todd and Tranmere's John Aldridge have won the award, but in the following month their side have failed to win a game.
The City boss said: "The award has gone now and the players must focus on Stock-port. I am sure the manager of the month award won't be in their heads at 3pm tomorrow."
The Bantams travel to Edge-ley Park looking to repeat last season's success when they won 2-1 in Jewell's first game in charge.
City are on an unbeaten run of six matches, and Jewell is relishing the game. He said: "Stockport are a very hard-working side who are physical and use set-pieces well. If we don't match them, then we will be struggling.
"They were very impressive in the opening 25 minutes last week at Bury, after which they were 3-0 up." Jewell adds Craig Ramage, pictured, to his squad.
