THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD Shane Walton has been picked to represent the South and East when they take on a Lancashire-dominated team later this month.
Shane, a pupil at Bronte School, Keighley, plays his club rugby with Cougar Cubs and is also a member of the Bradford Bulls' elite youth development squad.
He is an all-round sportsman also playing soccer, ice skating and last year broke the school 100m record at athletics.
He plays at centre for the representative side and recently raced in from half way for a try for the Bradford/Leeds Combined XIII.
