Bracken Bank Under-13's sliced through the mud to beat Eldwick 13-0 despite missing a bag full of goals in the first 15 minutes. A three man substitution changed the game with Adam Pemberton scoring four goals and manof the match Martin Taylor outstanding in defence.
Long Lee C enjoyed another win, beating Shelf C 5-3. Scorers were L Carter (2), M O'Hara (2) and Josh 1.
Long Lee Under-12's ended their losing sequence with a 1-0 home victory over Haworth. In a close fought contest Martin Tremaine and keeper Jamie Andrew were outstanding in defence with man of the match Matthew Langford scoring the winner near the end.
Silsden Under-10's A produced a superb teamperformance to gain a 3-1 victory over a strong Sandy Lane side. Lane took an early lead after a mix up in the home defence, and influential midfielder Sam Dowgill had to go off injured which allowed Ross Croad his first game for six weeks, returning after a broken collar bone. He didn't disappoint, putting away the equaliser quickly followed by an Adam McLean goal to put Silsden 2-1 up at the interval.
Silsden's third goal came from an Andrew North corner with Ross Croad getting the final touch. Goalkeeper Jason Perry was man of the match, pulling off three outstanding saves while Adam McLean and Xandra Pietrovito were also on top form. The win keeps Silsden in the top half of the league and still unbeaten this season.
Silsden Under-10's B beat SanyLane 4-1, opening up with a well worked goal from Luke Binns. Scoptt Greenwood scored the second from the edge of the box and followed up with the third after some impressive passing moves.
Sandy Lane pulled a goal back after the break, but silsden stepped up a gear and produced a great fourth goal from captain Nick Marshall who was also named man of the match. The Silsden defence of Adam Wilkinson, Tom Hill and Luke Lockwood dominated Sandy Lane's strike force.
