FREDDY COUGAR'S junior supporters club is to be given a new look as the club prepares for the 1999 season.

Under the new scheme anyone under the age of 13 on January 30 will be able to get club membership, and admission to every league game for £10.

"We are also going to have meetings of the 'Freddy Club' one Saturday in every month when our young fans will be able to meet players, take part in competitions and have a real fun time," said club coach Lee Crooks.

The club also aims to develop a 'Freddy Club' section within the ground where young fans will have their own area. Children will be able to make as much noise as they like in the area.

"There parents will be able to leave them and go and watch the match in peace if they want, knowing their children are safe," Lee Crooks said.

Club members will also have their own credit card-style season ticket.

"We know the junior members are the future of the club and we will be doing all we can to make sure they have a good time," Lee Crooks said.

The club is also to have a special family ticket for the first pre-season game, against Leigh on Sunday, January 17.

The tickets for families of two adults and two children will be available for just £10, but will only be available at Gates 4 & 5 on Royd Ings Avenue.
