POOL stars from Keighley's Imperial A team have set a new record, clinching a Keighley 'treble' for the third successive year.
They took the Premierhsip League title, League Cup and Harry Cole Trophy.
They got off to a poor start in the first half of the season as other teams showed improved form, and were determined to knock the secen time champions off their perch.
Imperial had to overcome one or two sticky situations, particularly in the cup competitions, but determination and their team spirit saw them through to another perfect season.
The win will automatically enter them in the nationwide Champion of Champions competition which is to be played under the new World Rules, which are designed to make the game more competitive and enjoyable to watch.
T Pearson and P Burrows, also members of Imperial A, battled against the odds to win the Keighley Doubles knockout for the third year running, beating T Gill and S White in the final.
Keighley's up and coming new star, Sally Foulds showed top form, beating S Stewart in the ladies individual knockout.
Mixed doubles honours went to husband and wife partnership, Tony and Julie Gill. Tony's experience and Julie's excellent form gave them a memorable victory over glen and Claire Pilkington.
