Bradford City boss Paul Jewell players has told his players to banish all talk about the Newcastle United FA Cup tie for the next 11 days and concentrate on winning league points.

Cup fever has been sweeping Bradford since the draw paired the Bantams with the Magpies last weekend with the club's 4,000 allocation of tickets selling out in less than four hours.

However Jewell is adamant that his side will not be distracted ahead of the next three league games - today's clash at Stockport and the visits of Crewe and Crystal Palace.

And the City boss has banned his players from talking about the FA Cup among themselves or to the media until after the Palace game on Tuesday, January 19.

Speaking before setting off to Edgeley Park today, he said: "I brought the players together and said they must get the Newcastle game out of their heads and remain focused on their jobs.

"We have three cup finals before the Newcastle game. That is why I have been at pains to stress this point to my players.

"The supporters are very excited about the cup tie. But you have to understand that it is our job to concentrate on the most imminent match only.

"If a player does allow his concentration to waver in the coming few fixtures then he may well find himself not playing at Newcas-tle."

Meanwhile, City have confirmed that they will be beaming pictures of the Newcastle clash back to Valley Parade for fans to watch the action on a big screen.

Chairman Geoffrey Richmond met technical experts yesterday and after getting the go-ahead he has announced tickets for the Sunwin Stand will be priced £8 for adults, £5 for senior citizens and £2 for children. Prices for the Symphony Stand will be £7 adults, £4 senior citizens and £1 for children. These are on general sale now.

Richmond said: "We want as many supporters as possible to be able to see the Newcastle clash and this is the best way of doing that."

The 35 square metres screen will be situated on the pitch between the Diamond Seal Kop and the Ciba Stand with commentary provided by Radio Leeds.

Fans will also be available to buy tickets for the banqueting suite where they can have a meal before the game. Full details for this package will be released some time next week.
