Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was threatened by his passengers.
The driver was left stranded on an isolated road on Monday night after the two men threatened him with a metal object, chased him and then drove off in his white Toyota Corina taxi.
The incident happened after the two men got into the taxi while it was parked in Keighley's town centre rank at 8.45pm. They asked the 50-year-old driver to take them to Haworth.
But as the car approached the village, the driver was ordered to go along remote Blackmoor Road - between Haworth and Oxenhope.
After telling the driver to stop on Blackmoor Road, it is believed one of the men pulled out an iron bar and started to threaten him.
The driver immediately got out of the car and ran along the road.
The two men chased him until the driver shouted to them that his money was in the taxi. They then jumped back in the car and drove off with it. It was later found abandoned in Halifax.
Both suspects are described as white males.
One is said to be between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in tall with short, light brown hair, of average build and under 25 years of age. He was wearing blue jeans and a white pullover and carrying a white carrier bag.
The other man is believed to be slightly shorter. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket and a hat which was pulled over his eyes.
