Football-mad teenager Rach-elle Houldsworth is the latest monthly winner of our Search for a Sporting Star competition, run in conjunction with Tay-wood Homes.
Since she first donned a pair of goalkeepers gloves, the 14-year-old pupil at Oakbank School has won rave reviews for her performances between the sticks.
Rachelle's progress has been such that she made her Premiership debut this season for Bradford City Ladies in the local derby fixture against Leeds.
As well as playing for the Bantams, Rachelle has also had the honour of keeping goal for the Yorkshire Under 16 team.
Her PE teacher and form tutor David Allen says: "Rach-elle's real love is playing football and her favourite position is goalkeeper."
Rachelle has also achieved many goals on the athletics field, where she has excelled at field events, and has represented Bingley Harriers. She is the current Bradford and Yorkshire Under 15 discuss champion with a personal best of 32.72 metres, and is the current holder of the Bradford Under 15 shot put record.
Her talents also stretch to the badminton court, where she has represented both Bradford and Yorkshire, as well as playing for the Oakbank School team which finished seventh in the National School Champion-ships.
Rachelle has also found time to represent the school at hockey and rounders, and was a member of the netball team which triumphed recently at the West Yorkshire Invitation Tour-nament.
To ensure she keeps on saving goals, Rachelle will use the £100 prize money to buy a new pair of gloves and put what is left over towards her travelling costs.
To nominate someone for an award send a letter of no more than 200 words outlining their sporting achievements and how they will spend the prize money. The youngster must not be older than 16.
Send entries to Search for a Star c/o Richard Brugger, 80-86 North Street, Keighley, BD21 3AG.
Once we have six individual monthly winners, we will select an overall winner who will be named Sporting Star of the Year.
