German companies are seeking work placements with firms in the Keighley area thanks to a new initiative by a business organisation.
Keighley Business Forum has set up links with world-wide companies through its Trans-Atlantic Environmental Business Action Partnership.
An organisation which represents companies working in technology and based in Germany has contacted KBF seeking firms which are willing to take people on as part of their training.
One-week placements are being sought in January and February for six German people, aged between 26 and 52.
A small battery recycling firm wants to place an employee with a similar company to examine and implement new environmental strategies and waste management methods
A chemist with a company active in the water and sewage treatment fields, and with specific interest in information technology, is seeking a placement with a local firm, particularly in the areas of surface/galvanic technology
A steel construction firm wants to place three employees with construction, design and sales experience with a similar Keighley company.
