Former supporters' favourite Steve Hall has become Keighley Cougars' fourth close season signing.
The 31-year-old prop forward has re-joined Cougars from Rochdale hoping for a change of luck.
Hall broke his leg in Cougars' Regal Trophy quarter final defeat against Warrington at Cougar Park in January 1995 and then had the misfortune to break his other leg after he joined Rochdale.
Hall will be re-united with his former team-mate, loose forward Martin Wood who is also back at Cougar Park after re-joining Keighley from Super League club Sheffield Eagles.
Other new signings are second row Andrew Schick from Castleford and utility back Richard Agar from Dewsbury.
The quartet follow the capture of Australian scrum half Nathan Antonik from Sydney club St George just before the end of last season.
Coach Lee Crooks said: "Steve Hall has been unfortunate with injuries and spent 18 months out of the game.
"If he can recover the sort of form he showed for the club before his injury he will be a good player for us. Hopefully his luck will change now he is back at Keighley.
"We have signed players who have had Super League experience which is going to be invaluable for us this season.
"I am quietly confident we will be able to be up with the top teams in the First Division.
"It is not going to be easy because it is a very competitive league, but with the players we have got we are quite optimistic about what is going to happen."
Keighley have announced that MCC Auto Centre in Hard Ings Road opposite the ground will be sponsors for the new season. They replace Cartasport Leisure Ltd.
The club also unveiled their new kit which is based on a design on a competition in which Keighley district schools were invited to take part.
Winner of the competition was Saima Rahman, who attends Holy Family School but was a pupil at Our Lady of Victories School when she entered the competition last summer.
Cougars' first trial match before the new season is against Leigh at Cougar Park on Sunday.
