Rugby Union: Bradford and Bingley have been kicked out of the Yorkshire Cup for failing to fulfil their first round tie against West Park Bramhope within an acceptable timescale.
The Yorkshire RFU sub-committee which deals with the administration of the competition agreed that Bridlington must forfeit their home tie against Old Brodleians, and that Bradford and Bingley's tie at West Park Bramhope should be awarded to the Leeds club.
Bridlington's departure follows the East Coast club's decision to play a 'friendly' against Beverley on January 2 rather than face Old Brodleians on that date in the cup.
Bradford and Bingley were also unable to meet West Park Bramhope on January 2, citing a lack of front-row players and the unavailability of a number of first-team regulars.
All the following ties will take place on Saturday, February 20.
Independent Agriculture Yorkshire Cup - Second round draw: York v Doncaster, Old Brodleians v North Ribblesdale, Selby v Cleckheaton, West Park Bramhope v Hull Ionians, Rotherham v Middlesbrough or Sandal, Sheffield v Wheatley Hills, Morley v Old Crossleyans, Driffield or Keighley v Huddersfield YMCA or Wharfedale.
Independent Agriculture Yorkshire Shield - Second round draw: Scarborough v Yarnbury, Ilkley v Leeds Corinthians, Hullensians v Barnsley, Thornensians v York RI, Castleford v Leodiensians, Ripon v Redcar, Moortown v Sheffield Oaks, Halifax Vandals v Hessle.
