Bradford firms wanting to learn how to develop brilliant new ideas are being given a helping hand.
Business Link Bradford & District have come up with a list of ways to turn ideas into products and how to bring them to market.
The organisation has an event in the city centre which will help companies draw up a blueprint to do just that.
The Fast Track Product Development event is on Wednesday, at 5.30pm in Mercury House, Manchester Road, and is expected to attract a large number of firms from the area.
The event will give firms business strategies for developing new products without wasting time and money and help them gain a competitive edge.
Business Link's innovation and technology adviser Alastair McKinna said today: "For too long businesses have struggled with product development. It is easy to make costly mistakes but this can be avoided.
"This briefing will help people find out about opportunities to improve their products, reduce product development time and find out what the customer wants in the future."
One of the firms to benefit from previous Business Link events is James Spencer in Wilsden.
Les Vevers, from the company, said today: "Business Link has run a number of workshops with us on product development that have resulted in the company improving teamwork, communication and the product development process.
"I would recommend that any company considering the development of new products should attend," he added.
For further information on the free workshop contact Alastair McKinna on 01274 751385.
