Pool AFC 6
HARLOW HILL 0
LEAGUE leaders Harlow Hill were the latest victims of this rampant Pool side which is determined to keep the bandwagon rolling.
From start to finish Pool's flowing, confident football destroyed a team lacking in ideas.
The deadlock was broken after 20 minutes when Jamie Taylor broke down the left, squared the ball to Shaun Joyce and the striker fired home from six yards.
An own goal and another Joyce goal took it to 3-0 at the break.
The second-half started much the same way as the first had finished with Pool piling forward looking for more goals.
Only some superb goalkeeping by the Harlow 'keeper denied Wilson, Taylor,O'Grady and Joyce on numerous occasions,.
Pool's defence of Carlton, Smithson, Ingle and skipper Healey snubbed any attempty by Harlow to get near goal.
A further goal was needed to kill the game and just like the buses, just when you think one is not coming three turn up at once.
A Richard Field special and two more from goal machine Shaun Joyce finally gave a scoreline that reflected the game. Joyce has now netted 37 goals in 18 games.
Superb midfield work from Matt O'Grady and Jamie Taylor earned them both a share of the match pooint.
Pool thus take their unbeaten league run to Ilkley on Saturday hoping to continue their fine form.
