Silsden Under-11's played some excellent football to beat Church on the Way 7-1.
Throughout the first half they attacked the Church goals, piling up a 5-0 lead at the break with goals from Chris Sutcliffe, Gavin Shearer and outstanding finishing from Daniel McNulty.
After the break Church on the Way put in more effort, but couldn't stop the impressive Silsden team scoring more goals through Nick McNally, Gavin Shearer and Daniel McNulty who completed his hat-trick. The man of the match for Silsden was Luke Greenway whose touch on the ball and commitment continues to impress.
Silsden Under-12's went down 6-4 at Eccleshill despite a superb opening goal from Alex Delmege.
Silsden were on the attack throughout the first half with Delmege scoring another goal to go in level 2-2 at the break. The second half was played goal-for-goal with Starmer netting a beautiful left footing shot and Delmege completing his hat-trick.
Eccleshill finally got the edge despite some excellent team work from Silsden. Rhys Thomas excelled in defence and Richard Starmer was man of the match.
Long Lee Under-9's went unrewarded despite a superb display against Wyke. Kriss Gott scored twice and Adam Spencer got the third in a 4-3 defeat. Callum Whittaker and Declan King shared the man of the match award for their non-stop displays.
Long Lee Under-9's B were unlucky to lose 3-0 to Wyke. They went down despite a solid team performance with excellent displays from Thomas Barlow and Philip Clayton who were joint men of the match.
Oakworth Under-8's put in a gritty defensive display to hold Wyke to a 4-0 defeat. Man of the match Ryan Tiler was outstanding in goal, preventing his side from a much heavier defeat. Harry Walkenden tackled hard in an improved performance from the Oaks.
