In-line skaters and skateboarders have been urged to contact Ilkley Parish Council with their suggestions for a special skating area to be constructed in Ilkley.
Following a Parish Council meeting in November, Ilkley Parish Clerk Miggy Bailey said many youngsters came forward with suggestions for a location, such as Ilkley Swimming Pool and East Holmes field.
But Mrs Bailey has called for more support for the idea to be registered before an open meeting about the campaign at the Jack Lofthouse Annexe of the Clarke-Foley Centre, on Cunliffe Road, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 17.
Mrs Bailey said that the more support there was in the town for a skating area, the better chance there would be of getting a grant from Bradford Council bodies such as the area panel.
