Plucky Jordan Anderson was invited to tea by the Lord Mayor - to say thanks for taking part in a charity show despite breaking his foot.
The Wrose four-year-old, a member of Bradford's Stage 84 theatre company, sprang to fame in November after breaking his foot while plunging from his sister's cupboard while pretending to be his favourite cartoon character Buzz Lightyear.
Despite that, Jordan went ahead with a special charity show in aid of the Lord Mayor's Baby Unit Regional Parents' Society (BURPS) appeal and had to be carried on stage.
Councillor Tony Miller was so impressed with Jordan's bravery that he invited him for tea at City Hall yesterday. And then the pair then went on to McDonalds in Kirkgate, Bradford, for a slap-up meal.
Jordan is allergic to milk, chocolate, fish, apples, beans and tomato ketchup. All his food has to be carefully monitored and his teachers at Low Ash First School in Wrose have undergone special training from nurses at Shipley Health Centre to deal with the condition.
Mum Karen Anderson said: "Burgers are all he wants to eat. He can eat everything except the relish on them. He has to be careful because if he eats the wrong food he could just stop breathing. If he puts his finger in ketchup it just swells up."
Coun Tony Miller said he had been impressed the night Jordan insisted the show must go on.
"My first thought was what a brave little boy he was when he was going through a lot of pain himself. I just wanted to thank him personally by inviting him for tea.''
