Bradford Bulls stars Robbie and Henry Paul proved they know how to handle a microphone as well as a rugby ball by taking to the stage to perform their latest record.
The Kiwi brothers gave their first public performance of a re-worked version of the song Ain't No Stopping Us Now during the club's Squad Number Presentation Evening at St George's Hall.
The track, which was a hit for McFadden and Whitehead in 1979, has been updated as the Bulls' new anthem and is being released for the start of the new Super League season.
Robbie and Henry perform the rap section of the record, and their vocal talents went down a storm with the 2,000 fans who had queued around the block to see last night's event.
Bradford is the only rugby league club to stage a special squad number presentation and the new anthem was the finale to a show which had the audience off their seats and chanting in the aisles.
Bulls coach Matthew Elliott presented each player with a rugby ball, marked with their squad number for the 1999 season.
But the biggest cheer of the evening came when the Paul brothers got up on stage with Bradford-based singer Anita Madigan to perform the song.
Robbie said: "It's just a bit of fun really. It's good for the fans to see us doing something a bit different. If we did release it and it did well I wouldn't mind going on Top Of The Pops."
Henry added: "We both had a great time making the record. If it helps promote Bradford and the Bulls then all the better."
And the verdict from the fans?
Nigel Wray, 36, said: "I think they might be another Hoddle and Waddle. I could just see them on Top Of The Pops."
Carla Swiderski, 17, said: "I thought they were brilliant. I hope they release it and it goes all the way to number one."
l St George's Hall had to be evacuated last night when a fire alarm went off at the end of the Bulls presentation evening. Firefighters from Bradford Central attended the incident, which turned out to be a false alarm.
