Paul Jewell writes: I am very disappointed with the result because I felt we played very well.
Most of our players were outstanding and I really feel I couldn't have asked any more of them.
We have to take encouragement from that. I told them after the game that I was proud to be their manager.
We went to Birmingham and played some smashing football while taking the game to the home side.
Maybe with a bit more intelligent finishing in front of goal we could have earned the points, but it was not to be.
But now we have to bounce back for the game against Watford next week.
It was a long Sunday evening and the players are off today, but by Tuesday I want the players ready to face Watford.
I hate losing but if there is a way to lose a game, then that is it. I think over the 90 minutes, that was one of our best performances of the season.
We did well for 45 against Huddersfield and at Portsmouth but we played for the whole game against Birmingham. Unfortunately, we have nothing to show for that.
The amount of injury time makes no difference. It is the same for both sides, the fact is you have to concentrate for however long a game goes on.
