Hundreds of people are expected to flock to Farnhill Pinnacle early on Easter Sunday for an act of worship.
The annual dawn pilgrimage, first staged 15 years ago, is organised by the South Craven Methodist Circuit. People from all denominations are invited to take part.
Worshippers - together with musicians - will make their way to the pinnacle for 6.15am, when there will be a short service. Afterwards, tea and hot-cross buns will be served at Farnhill chapel.
Rev Mollie Greenwood says: "They go in the tradition of the first followers of Jesus who rose before dawn to go to his tomb. Our service will begin just as the darkness is giving way to the light."
