Victory won't be enough for Bradford Bulls coach Matthew Elliott against Wakefield tomorrow as they bid to put their Knowsley Road nightmare behind them.
The club's record 58-14 Super League defeat at St Helens and the Challenge Cup semi-final setback at the hands of Leeds have raised question marks about their ability to match it with the best and Elliott knows they have a job on to win over the doubters.
"It is not just about winning, I am looking for a very high quality performance from a team that is capable of putting one in.
"If I were on the outside the Saints result would really have got me thinking about the Bulls credentials and it might take us a month before the critics stop mentioning it. I would ask the fans not to read too much into the Saints game though. In retrospect it was not the most experienced side that I have ever put out and it was our third game in eight days.
"We paid the price but we will be there at the end of the season fighting for honours. The first step towards that comes tomorrow and we intend to set the record straight."
Elliott still has injury concerns but is set to hand a first senior appearance to 21-year-old, 6ft 3in back-rower Jamie Peacock who has been impressing with the under-21 side this season.
He gets the nod ahead of Jeremy Donougher who had a lengthy run-out in the Alliance League on Thursday.
Elliott will make fitness checks today on Henry Paul and Stuart Spruce but Tevita Vaikona and Mick Withers appear to be losing their fitness race. Forwards David Boyle and Paul Anderson are poised to return to the 17.
Australian centre Adrian Brunker is expected to miss his first match for Wakefield because of a broken bone in his hand. Adam Hughes takes his place and Gary Price and Sean Richardson replace Jamie Field and Wayne McDonald as second row partners. Paul March comes in at stand-off, with twin brother David at hooker.
Gates open at 3.15 and the entertainment includes the Bulls Academy versus Wakefield at 3.50pm and the 'Village People Show' starting at 5.20pm.
