SRB subsidies of £1.36 million over the past three years have already attracted an extra £6.3 million investment from local businesses. Around 30 firms have finished their improvements and created 172 new jobs and safeguarded another 93. Several other firms have received SRB approval for their improvements.
and together with the 30 completed schemes will create 558 new jobs.
The figures were revealed in a report on the SRB's Property Investment Fund, which was presented to the full SRB partnership board recently.
Board members were told that each new job has cost an average of $2,445 from the SRB fund.
