An appeal has been lodged against Bradford council's refusal of planning permission for a conservatory at Riddlesden.
Planners claimed the proposed conservatory - at Ryding Gate Barn, Ilkley Road - would be out of character with the main building which is in a Special Landscape Area.
The appeal will be decided by a government inspector on the basis of written statements and a site visit.
Any comments already made following the original application will be forwarded to the Department of the Environment for consideration by the inspector.
