A business park will rise from the ashes of Pudsey's former Flexiform factory.
The factory, which was on the Grangefield Industrial estate on Richardshaw Lane, has been demolished to make way for the park.
Shepherd Developments have acquired the 5.4 acre site for £750,000 for an 80,000 sq ft industrial and warehousing scheme.
Shepherd is to make an early planning application for state-of-the-art buildings with large service yards and parking on the site.
Units will range from 7,500 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft. It is likely the initial phase will offer units of 7,500, 20,000 and 15,000 square feet.
Nick Child, regional director, said: "There is excellent demand for quality industrial and distribution facilities in the right location.
"This site offers good access to road networks and prominence to the Stanningley Bypass. We expect the first units to come on stream in eight-nine months time."
