SANDAL 65
THIS was a high scoring match and a much closer contest than the final score would suggest.
After an early torrent of tries from Sandal, Ilkley came back strongly with most of the play involving John Henry Johnson who scored seven tries in the match and put in some excellent tackles.
Andrew Maclean scored a try from his scrum half position. Ilkley were capable of winning the match but in the end poor tackling let them down.
