Matthew Elliott still believes his squad are good enough to win Super League and feels they are in the mood to prove it at Warrington tomorrow.
Boosted by the return of five key players the Bulls' coach declared: "What we need now is to play some football without having too many changes.
"I am still very confident that the squad is not only good enough to win any game in Super League but good enough to win the Grand Final. We have had a bit of a dip due to an emotionally and physically tough period but those are no longer factors anymore.
"I didn't say it at the time obviously but I thought we were a bit flat in training last week and it showed against Wakefield. But this week there has been a real buzz about the place, which has perhaps been missing for the last three weeks.
"The return of the injured players gives us a much more potent look and we will need it because we are expecting a very highly-motivated opposition."
Elliott has taken the unfamiliar step of naming his side in advance and some big names have paid the price for the low key effort against Wakefield last week.
Chief among those are club captain Steve McNamara and big money back signings Nathan McAvoy and Aussie Nick Zisti who were all on Alliance duty against Warrington at Odsal this afternoon.
But Elliott insisted: "I don't regard it as a shake-up. At the moment other players are doing better than them.
"I have had some tough decisions to make. For instance Jamie Peacock did really well on his debut last week and must be wondering what he has done wrong to be back with the under-21s this week.
"Some other players may be feeling the same but I have talked to them all individually and it is now up to them to use the Alliance game to show just how much they want to play with the top squad."
Despite the return of Stuart Spruce, pictured, there is still place on the bench for teenage prospect Leon Pryce and Elliott feels it is much deserved.
"If Leon was not THE best player on the field last week he was in the top two. There are some things young players have to go through and Leon will have some setbacks but he is there on merit this week," said Elliott.
