An inquest has been opened on a 13-year-old boy who crashed through the roof of a Crossflatts warehouse.
Gavin Baxter, of Moorhead Crescent, Shipley, suffered severe head injuries after plunging 50 feet through a skylight at the Magnet Showroom and Warehouse, at Ashfield Mills in Keighley Road.
He was rushed to Bradford Royal Infirmary and later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary, where he died last Wednesday despite attempts to revive him.
Bradford Coroner's Court heard last Friday that Gavin, a pupil at Ryshworth Middle School, Crossflatts, had been playing with two boys when he climbed onto the roof.
Coroner Roger Whittaker adjourned the hearing for further inquiries.
The body was released for funeral purposes.
