Keighley & Craven athletes took part itn the Wakefield 10k which attracted over 900 runners.
First man home was Richard Findlow of Bradford and Airedale in 30mins 48secs.
The first Keighley man was James Callaghan who underlined his return to form with a creditable 30th place in 34:16.
The race between Keighley athletes was very competive with Liam Spencer only three places behind in 34.23 and Chris Loftus a further two place back in 34:33. They were closely followed by Len Buxton (45th) 34.54, Steve Hornby (47) 35.03, and Dave Tate (78) 36:51.
Keith Waddingham finished 112th in 37:50, Charlie Marshall 120th in 38:18 and Alex Radcliffe 583rd with 50:57.
A total of 832 runners completed the race with the Keighley team taking seventh place from the 39 teams taking part.
The next event in the 11-race road championship is the Rothwell 10K near Leeds, on Sunday, April 25.
