Paul Jewell writes: If I am to take something positive out of Saturday it is that we are now two goals better off than we were over Ipswich at the start of the day. But it is a setback.

We started off very well but I have to say I can't believe the way we defended and that is what cost us the game.

I don't know why we did that. There were no signs of nerves in the first 25 minutes when we were camped in their half. But then Wayne Allison and Marcus Stewart got the better of our two central defenders, there is no doubt about that.

Even when it was 3-1 at half-time with their lad having been sent off, I still thought we could get something. I just told the players to keep playing.

We got back into the game but every credit to Huddersfield they held on. The goalkeeper deserves every credit for a fantastic save from Dean Windass' penalty.

It is disappointing but what we do know is that we can't go and give goals away like we did in the first half.

The crumb of comfort is we haven't lost any ground. That is the positive we have to take out of this and I do think it will go right down to the wire.

I am sick but that is football. You have to pick yourself up and dust yourself down. The most important game for us now is QPR.

I was pleased with all the players' contributions in the second half. Who knows, maybe the goals tally will be vital come the end of the season. I didn't see the incident for the sending off.
