Paul Jewell believes the pressure is off his Bradford City side now that many pundits have writen-off their chances of automatic promotion.
Ipswich went three points above the Bantams with their 1-0 victory over Stockport on Tuesday night and are now firm favourites to remain in second place to seal a place in the Premiership.
But the City boss warned: "People seem to assume it is all decided as to who will go up but I still believe there will be twists and turns along the way.
"But in a way the fact that we are being written off means the pressure will be off us because the spotlight is now on Ipswich.
"We can't change anything that has happened. I have said this all season but the next game is the important one.
"What I want everyone to do now is remain positive. We have come a long way and there is an awful lot right at this club.
"I gave the players an extra day off this week to try and help them get over the disappointment of the Huddersfield game.
"Then on Tuesday we all came back in and watched the video before sitting down for a discussion. We know what we didn't do right and have worked on those in training.
"The one thing I wanted to ensure was that we didn't feel sorry for ourselves and I have been pleased with the players' reaction."
Ipswich entertain bottom club Crewe on Saturday while City travel to relegation threatened QPR with Jewell knowing that victory is vital.
Jewell is hoping that the flu bug which has struck both midfielder Jamie Lawrence and goalkeeper Gary Walsh this week will ease before the squad make the trip to London.
Meanwhile, this season's season ticket holders are being reminded that Saturday is the final day they can reserve their existing seats in the Sunwin and Ciba Stands for next term. The ticket office will be open from 9am to 3pm on Saturday.
The ticket office will then open again between 11am and 2pm on Sunday for those who have already purchased season tickets for the 1999-2000 campaign but want to move. Any supporters wishing to transfer seats must bring their original receipt as this has to be surrendered. Sunday is also the second deadline date for discount prices.
