Rugby Union: Bradford and Bingley will meet Otley tomorrow for the inaugural Granville Clark Memorial Trophy.
Family and friends of the flanker, who played for both clubs before his death from cancer at the age of 36 in 1993, will gather at Wagon Lane (3.00).
Several of his former playing colleagues will also line-up in a veterans game in Clark's honour on the main pitch at 2pm.
"John Fletcher, Andy Hargreaves, Guy Standeven, Glyn Melville and myself are all turning out," said veterans organiser Peter Rae.
"Granville was a smashing bloke, and played for Bingley, Halifax and Otley before returning to Bradford and Bingley."
Players from Old Brodleians and Halifax are also helping out in the veterans' match, which could mark Otley back-row Andy Hargreaves' last appearance before retirement, and it seems like Bradford and Bingley could use some help in the main match - particularly in the front row.
Otley have been hit by county calls and injuries, and are without Simon Hawkins, Wayne Hartley, Simon Smith, Gary Cassidy, Dave Hall and Lafaele Filipo.
Wharfedale could well have six players in the Yorkshire team to face Leicestershire tomorrow at Syston, but still take a strong squad to Kendal.
It's quite a weekend for remembering those who have died as the eighth annual Richard Birkett Memorial match is being held at Bradford Salem on Sunday (2.30).
Bradford Grammar School Old Boys are again fielding a strong side against a Salem XV.
