Non-League: Farsley Celtic's end-of-season party was left decidedly flat after they succumbed in their final home game of the season, visitors Whitley Bay boosting their chances of avoiding relegation with a 2-1 win.
Celtic, who secured their own UniBond Division One status only two weeks ago, were decidedly second best.
Bay, who have moved two places above the drop zone, scored first and crushed a half-hearted Celtic with a winner 11 minutes from time.
Capitalising on poor defending, Glen Liddle gave the visitors a 33rd-minute lead, but Pav Singh equalised by heading home seven minutes later.
Celtic were reduced to ten men just before the hour when Andy Watson was sent off for a professional foul. Though they rallied in their best spell of the match, they were undone when Christ-en Priest raced through the middle to settle the issue in the 79th minute.
Tonight recent beaten cup finalists Bradford Park Avenue and Guiseley play their third matches since Saturday.
Celtic's Division One rivals Avenue, who lost to Ossett Albion in the West Riding County Cup final, are at Matlock Town.
In the Premier Division, Guiseley are at Whitby Town for their penultimate league game. Both clubs are expected to name unchanged squads.
