Yeadon overwhelmed visitors Bowling Old Lane on Saturday when their five pronged bowling attack shot out the visitors for a mere 60.

Skipper Damon Gormley mopped up the tail with an amazing 4-1 after John Roper, Darren Murray and Craig Thornton had all claimed wickets. Naeem Khan also got in on the act by picking up a wicket.

Yeadon then rubbed off the runs for the loss of two wickets using up just 9.1 overs.

Damon Gormley plundered an unbeaten 28 and Khan an unbeaten 18 as victory was gained.

Yeadon seconds gave a tremendous performance to overhaul the Bowling Old Lane score of 214-6. They knocked off the runs for the loss of five wickets with Simon Carey making 69.

Esholt took six points from their win over visitors Hartshead Moor who totalled 157 all out.

They had no answer to South African Pierre De Bruyn, the former Pudsey St Lawrence bowler, who took 4-38 off 14 overs, and Dominic Kelly, the former Ben Rhydding player, who took 5-71.

Esholt knocked off the runs with De Bruyn showing his all-round potential with a fine innings of 93 from the number three spot.
